18.11.2009 New 2.8.2 Universalbox update.

With this update you are able to unlock/lock/repair invalid lock any BB5 phones, not interesting what software version or CPU is inside. (except SL3 firmwares)

This is a free update so you can use it without any activation.

Please read trough this F.A.Q.

Q: Witch models are supported?
A: Rapido and RAP3G based models are supported except phones witch have higher version then 5x.xx.

Q: Can i unlock/lock/repair simlock phones with 9DDB hash? (3600c, 5220, 7210c, 7310, 6600s, 6600f, 7610s...)
A: Yes you can.

Q: I faced with "Read lock key fail" before. Can i unlock this phones from now?
A: Yes you can.

Q: There where problems with unlocking before, phone was dead or blinked at Nokia screen. Will this update safer then before?
A: Yes. Your phones will be 100% safe while unlocking, so this problem is a thing of the past.

Q: I have 123456-12-654321-x imei. Can i repair this problem with the new update?
A: No you can't.

Q: Can i repair restarting problems? (Secure Watchdog problem)
A: No you can't.

Q: Can i repair / unlock my SL3 phones?
A: No you can't.

Q: Can i repair PM Auth "Step1 problem"? (SuperDongle Key missing)
A: No you can't.

Q: Need i pay for anything?
A: Users who have valid Free BB5 SL2 activation can unlock all phones for free except models with 9DDB hash.
Simlock repair and Lock functions consuming credits stated on the pricing table.
Users who have no activation need pay after each phone.

Reflecting to Mx Team step we have released all BB5 unlock by NCK and SL_Repair
for free for new purchased boxes.


Boxes which are already in use, from now all BB5 unlock by NCK/SL_repair will be
free after one time activation.

Users who have activated "free BB5 SL2" before need pay just 200 credits.
Users who not activated "freeBB5 SL2" before need to pay 300 credits.

We say thank you for old users who are working with us and sponsoring our work
to have unique solutions.

Old and new Users also don't need to worry, because we are working on SL3 unlock,

New functions:




Fully reworked BB5 USB flashing routines, no more dead phones during flashing. You can flash actually all BB5 phones only with USB cable from now (6700, N8, C5, X3, 6710, 6730, etc)
Added flash file download in background

Added flash file download feature by product code. You need enter the product code, and you can download the latest available flash files




You can not select flash files directly, it will be selected from VPL, so just select the correct product code/region, and UB will do all the rest.
Update is free, so no activation is needed.

How can I use this service?
It is really simple. Connect your phone with F-Bus cable to UB and press SL3 unlock button. Your query will be calculated at server side. Normally it should be calculated within few hours (30 min-4 hour), but it extreme cases it could take up to few days also. It depends on how many users are before you in the list.
Currently we are able to unlock 500 phones daily, but this limit will be more in future.

Can I repair SL3 phones with invalid lock area?
No, you can not, because we are not supporting SL3 simlock repair function.

It is free or costs credits?
It costs credits after each unlocked phone. If it not possible to unlock your phone, then you will get your credits back. This has 0,1% chance, so not so much.

Can I unlock with old credits, or should I buy new SL3 credits?
You can use both, but you will have better price if you use new SL3 credit.
One unlock costs less with new SL3 credit. SL3 credits can be used only for SL3 unlock procedure.
Old credits are more universal, because can be used for SL3 and also for currently running services. (DCT4, BlackBerry, etc...)
